Amy Xie – President and Co-Founder

Mrs Xie is the co-founder of SYSNET International, Inc. and currently oversees the day-to-day operations of the company including business development, financial management, marketing, and human resources issues. Mrs. Xie obtained a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and has more than fourteen years of industry experience in the software development life-cycle including systems analysis, design and development of medium- to large-scaled applications. She has developed extensive experience in the high-tech sector after having worked for years in the industry at various organizational levels. She has a unique competency in translating business issues into customer solutions including opportunity identification, requirements development, management of software development, delivery, support, and analysis.

Odysseas Pentakalos, Ph.D. – Vice-President and Co-Founder

Dr. Odysseas Pentakalos is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of SYSNET International, Inc., where he focuses on providing his clients consulting services with the architecture, design and development of large distributed systems that utilize Java, XML, J2EE and .NET technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. He has published dozens of papers in conference proceedings and journals, is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is the co-author of the book “Windows 2000 Performance Guide” that is published by O’Reilly. Odysseas has developed a reputation for rescuing software projects that were on the verge of failure before he was brought on-board.
